Assessments
DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT (DA) A Diagnostic Assessment is an intensive clinical and functional face-to-face evaluation of an individual’s mental health, intellectual or developmental disability, or substance use condition performed by a team of licensed clinicians. The assessment typically takes ~ two hours and results in the issuance of a diagnosis and recommended behavioral healthcare services based on medical necessity. COMPREHENSIVE CLINICAL ASSESSMENT (CCA) A Comprehensive Clinical Assessment is an evaluation used to identify clinical needs and evidence based interventions for the purpose of treatment planning and to inform decision making about consumer service needs.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR)
The InnerVision Psychosocial Rehabilitation Service (PSR) is the core service from which all other services that the organization currently offers has emerged from. PSR at InnerVision is a daily service not a day program. This is an important distinction as day programs, typically are counter to best practices and tend to move individuals through structured treatment programming as cohorts/groups. InnerVision uses an individualized person–centered approach. As a result, the InnerVision PSR service is open on a daily basis, however each consumer enrolled in the service has his/own unique schedule that varies from semester to semester with some consumers coming to our PSR service for one – two hours per week while others (typically) come in 3-5 days per week depending on their course selections and their needs within the context of their personal recovery. Our PSR service is a therapeutic, warm, inviting, exciting and safe learning environment. At the InnerVision Psychosocial Rehabilitation Service; rehabilitation specialists and certified peer support specialist’s partner with consumers served as adult learners. This creates a recovery infused adult learning culture that mimics a college experience. Consumers engage in PSR services as “students “free from the stigma often associated with identity issues of being labeled as a “consumer”.Psycho- educational courses in community living, personal care, medication management, peer and natural support network development and social skills development are core classes in addition to pre-vocational career exploration offered in our PSR services. Courses are offered at varied times, varied sizes and varied languages to appeal to the diversity of learners served at InnerVision.InnerVision’s PSR service utilizes objective driven curriculums with clear course expectations. This enhances the learning experience for the consumer and accountabilities for staff/ facilitators. Additionally, courses have beginning and end dates and change every semester (six months). This has helped consumers and staff not to perceive enrollment in PSR services as an “end point” or as “indefinite”. This has contributed to a marked reduction in the average length of consumer enrollment (from an average of six years in 2006 compared to an average of two years in 2014).
Peer Support (PSS)
Peer Support is a 1:1 service where consumers work with a trained and Certified Peer Support Specialist in their home or in the community. In this service consumers met 1:1 with their your assigned Peer Support Specialist 4 or more hours per week at days and times that work for the consumer including evenings or weekends.

Supported Employment services are delivered in the community and at work sites. For this service consumers commit to meeting with members of the Supportive Employment team for up to 20 hours per week. Length of enrollment in this service varies depending on the consumer’s recovery oriented vocational needs.
