The field of psychiatric rehabilitation is an exciting and ever changing career path for individuals seeking to make a difference in the lives of others.

 

Full Time Rehabilitation Counselor

The professional in this position assists adults (age 18+) with vocational, educational, daily living and social skills development activities.

 

Minimum requirements: Must have a Bachelor's Degree, in psychology, sociology or a human services discipline. Paid work, internship or volunteer experience serving mental health clients is preferred.

Primary job responsibilities: Caseload duties, computerized documentation, person-centered planning activities, facilitate groups, engage in collaborative teamwork

Potential candidates should possess good organizational skills, flexibility, energy, good communication skills, creativity, objectivity, be able to exercise good judgment, have good problem solving skills, possess a good driving record and have a desire to have fun working in a diverse work environment.

Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. No on call.  Occasional evenings and/or holidays.
