 The field of psychiatric rehabilitation is an exciting and ever-changing career path for behavioral healthcare professionals seeking to make a difference in the lives of others.

InnerVision Inc., a nationally accredited, non-profit organization, dedicated to serving the needs of adults with severe and persistent mental illness, some with dual issues of alcohol and/or substance abuse, is looking for a Permanent Full Time Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS).

As a LCAS within our psychosocial rehabilitation day program, you would work with a team of caring professionals who partner with consumers (using a psychiatric vocational approach to recovery) to build their strengths and competencies in the areas of employment, education and social skills development.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

 Substance abuse education, screening, therapeutic support, 1:1 and group activities with consumers dually impacted with severe mental illness and alcohol or substance issues; substance abuse cross training with staff , community partners and stakeholders; caseload (max. of 10) duties include assessment  for crisis planning (relapse prevention) as part of the person-centered planning process and computerized documentation.   

This is a salaried position. Scheduled work hours will be within the times of the InnerVision psychosocial rehabilitation day program. Some additional evenings and/or holidays may be required.

Salary: $45,000 + (depending on experience).     

 Minimum requirements: Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, mental health experience preferred, must possess good organizational skills, flexibility, energy, good communication skills, creativity, possess a good driving record, be able to drive a 15 passenger automatic van and have a desire to have fun in a challenging and rewarding work environment.
