**Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) -- (Mon-Fri., 7am-3pm) daily program using the principles of recovery delivered by the only staff in NC trained in the psychiatric vocational rehabilitation process (Boston Univ.).
Certified Peer Support Specialists and Qualified Professionals provide interventions that focus on building consumer competencies by engaging them in meaningful activities centered around employment, education and interpersonal skills development.
Staff are available to assist consumers with activities such as management of medication & healthcare services, housing and activities of daily living stressors.
InnerVision’s PSR program is Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (mental health and substance abuse) capable and staffing includes a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist to simultaneously address alcohol and substance use issues.
**requires medical necessity, a person centered service plan, Medicaid insurance and/or County funding.
Peer Support Specialist Training
This includes an internship all 60 hours (40 hours of the NC State Division of Health & Human Services approved curriculum & 20 hours of electives) of training needed for NC Certification.
Peer Support-- a weekly support group run by consumers for consumers. This group is open to InnerVision consumers and consumers from throughout the community and is held at InnerVision on Wed. 3-4:30pm.
Community Forum for Consumers-Family-Community Stakeholders– 1st Wed. monthly, 5-6pm. Chaired by our Family Liaison from the National Alliance on Mental Illness, consumers, family, & friends along with our Consumer Rights Coordinator, Progress Quality Improvement Coordinator& InnerVision Director discuss issues and make recommendations to the Board of Directors about issues impacting consumer service delivery.
Family Support--Wed., usually at 6pm. Support group run by and for consumer family members; open to InnerVision & family members from throughout the community. Call ahead to Carole Jorgensen,

Family Education Classes -- Free 12 week course designed to educate and enlighten consumer family members or caregivers about how to deal and cope with their loved one who has a mental illness.
